Hi, my name is Laura. I'm the proud owner Handsome Hounds Boarding and Grooming LLC. We will do our best to provide the safest and best services for you and your pet. We understand that your animal isn't just a pet, but a member of your family.
I have a background in customer service and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management. Bringing the love of animals into the mix I feel I'm doing what God intended for me to be doing. I earned a certificate in Grooming with the Golden Paws Grooming Academy in Marinette, Wisconsin in 2010. I opened Handsome Hounds in January of 2011 and haven't looked back since!
I have always had a love for animals since the day I was born. Growing up we showed horses, dogs and rabbits. In addition we were always finding "pets" on our acreage to bring in to the house. I am married to Dan and we have two children Sophie and Aiden. I look forward to seeing your furry family member and taking care of them!
Andie Cox
Assistant Manager
Andie is an animal lover through and through. She has extensive handling experience from her time working at a veterinary clinic, showing horses and dogs to training and fostering dogs for service work. Andie also offers personal training, public socialization and other such services for her dog clients. Currently attending the University of Northern Iowa, Andie plans to pursue a degree in Animal Science & Behavior. Having worked at Whimsy Park Pet Boarding for two years, Andie stayed with the business through our transition to Handsome Hounds Boarding and Grooming.
